Traditional Loc Evolution Consult

Eligibility: For clients with palm-rolled (“twisted”) Traditional Locs seeking conversion, repair, or reconstruction only. This consultation is designed for clients transitioning from palm-rolling to crochet maintenance or interlocking, or those in need of repair or reconstruction services. The session includes a focused hair and scalp assessment, a review of your maintenance history, and a clear discussion of long-term goals and expectations. NorthManeLocs™ currently accepts clients only for conversion, repair, or reconstruction services. Ongoing routine palm roll maintenance will be referred to a preferred Loctician to ensure continued care. Please Note: • Extensions are not discussed during this consultation. • For extension-related needs, please book the Traditional Loc Extension Consultation.

Microloc Establishment Consultation

Your Signature Microloc Consultation is the first step in beginning your intentional NorthManeLocs™ Microloc journey. During this in-depth session, we will review your hair history, lifestyle, maintenance preferences, and long-term hair goals to determine if Microlocs are the right fit for you. This appointment includes a comprehensive hair and scalp analysis along with an educational discussion about the Microloc process, maintenance expectations, timelines, and realistic outcomes. This is also the time to ask questions and gain clarity before moving forward with establishment. Please arrive with: • 4–10 inches of loose natural hair (no braids or twists) • Relaxer-free hair • Color-free hair • Clean hair with no product applied • Hair in its natural, unstretched state (no blow-drying, braids, twists, or banding) If your hair needs to be cleansed, please add the Consultation Shampoo service when booking.

Microloc Transfer Consultation

Mandatory for all new clients seeking a Microloc install or transferring an existing Microloc journey to NorthManeLocs™. During this session, we’ll conduct a comprehensive scalp and hair analysis, review your loc history and lifestyle, and align on your future care plan and visual goals. This is your personalized entry point into elevated Microloc care. Note: Extensions will not be discussed during this consultation. If you are interested in extensions for repair, partial, or full installs, please book the SolarLocs™ Consultation instead.

SolarLocs Micro Interloc Extensions

This is the required consultation for any client interested in SolarLocs™ Micro Interlocked Extensions, whether for full installations, partial installs, or specialized repairs. We’ll explore your hair and scalp health, lifestyle, long-term goals, and care expectations. This in-depth session also includes discussion of reattachment options, repairs, and what’s required to maintain the integrity of your micro interlocked extensions. Ideal for new clients seeking installs or those transferring from another stylist with an interest in extensions. PLEASE NOTE: This consultation is for loose hair clients only. If you have established locs, please schedule a Microloc Transfer Consultation. Your locs must be assessed thoroughly before moving forward with extensions.

Microlocs Repair

Microloc repair is a detailed, precision service designed to correct inconsistencies, breakage, or thinning in the structure. Using crochet methods, de-loc’ing, reattachment, and advanced techniques, harmony restored to your crown. Session is crafted to honor the complexities of microlocs. Service has a 1-hour minimum. Note: A pre-service consultation may be required to determine the scope of repair. Note: A Microloc Consultation is recommended before booking to assess your needs and time requirements.

Traditional Loc Repair

This advanced, specialist-only service is designed to restore the integrity, structure, and longevity of Traditional Locs. Techniques may include crocheting, de-loc’ing, stretching, reattaching, or other professional repair methods tailored to your loc’s unique needs. Whether addressing thinning, breakage, or prior damage, each session is approached with skill, intention, and care. Service has a 1-hour minimum. Note: A pre-service consultation may be required to determine the scope of repair.

Crochet Root Refinement - Root Only

This specialized service focuses exclusively on anchoring new growth at the root using the crochet method — no retwisting or body work is included. Crochet Restoration - Body Only

PLEASE NOTE: NO STYLE CAN BE ADDED TO THIS SERVICE! Designed to restore and refine the body of your locs, this service reincorporates loose hair back into the structure of each loc for a more seamless, full-bodied finish. A full retwist is included to maintain the integrity of your grid and overall aesthetic. Service frequency varies from every 3 months to once per year, depending on your texture, growth rate, and visual preference. Pricing is a base rate and may increase depending on the amount of loose hair, length, density, and/or loc count. A Traditional Loc Consultation is required to confirm your pricing and care plan.

Crochet Reinforcement - Root + Body

PLEASE NOTE: NO STYLE CAN BE ADDED TO THIS SERVICE! A high-level, comprehensive repair service — combining root anchoring and body restoration using expert crochet techniques. New growth is crocheted to the base, while loose hair along the shaft is reincorporated into the body of each loc. This service is meant to reset the loc foundation, typically performed once before being maintained with standard retwists or root-only crochet work. Retwisting is not included. Pricing reflects a starting point and may increase based on the length, density, amount of loose hair, and overall visual refinement desired. Microloc Reset Retightening

$175.00 deposit required

This required first service for all Microloc transfer clients resets and refines your loc foundation. Each loc is carefully evaluated and retightened to restore alignment, balance, and consistency throughout the crown. This is a 4 hour service. $85 per hour up to 2 additional hours. This session prepares your Microlocs for ongoing NorthManeLocs™ luxury maintenance and ensures your journey continues with strength, structure, and precision.

Microloc 4-7 Week Retightening

Indulge in a premium grooming session designed to maintain the integrity and elegance of your Microlocs. This luxury retightening experience includes a clarifying cleansing shampoo, a rejuvenating mini hydration treatment, and expert precision with the Enerlocks Tool. Your retightening schedule is curated based solely on your most recent NorthManeLocs™ appointment to ensure optimal consistency and scalp health. Please note: sessions requiring additional time will incur an added fee. SolarLocs™ Retightening 4-7 Weeks

This transformational service is tailored for clients within their premium maintenance window. Experience gentle braiding and banding, a clarifying shampoo, precision that protects your grid and promotes longevity as well as expert craftsmanship using the Enerlocks Tool. Minor reinforcements and structural repairs are performed in alignment with your initial care plan and within your warranty. Appointments are scheduled based on your most recent session with NorthManeLocs™. Additional time is a separate investment and must be booked in advance to guarantee a completed service.

SolarLocs™ Retightening 8-10 Weeks

$5.00 deposit required

For clients extending their maintenance window, this elevated experience includes braiding and banding, detoxifying shampoo, and the Enerlocks Tool for meticulous retightening. Minor repairs are included within your warranty and follow the guidelines provided at installation. Scheduling is aligned only with your last NorthManeLocs™ visit. Services performed elsewhere or self-retightenings will not be used to calculate your timeframe. Unbooked extra time may prevent full service completion and will be billed accordingly.

Traditional Loc 6-10 Week Retie

This service is a precision grooming session for short-length Interlocked Locs, utilizing the Enerlocks Tool and/or Crochet Hook — not Palm Rolling or Loc Smithing. Perfect for clients seeking a refined, retightened grid without compromising the strength of their interlocked foundation. For crowns that carry length and legacy, this advanced service offers detailed root work using professional tools designed for interlocking — no Palm Rolling or Loc Smithing. Longer locs deserve elevated care. This premium cultivation service is reserved for crowns that command presence. Your session includes a clarifying shampoo, restorative hydration, and specialized attention that honors the care, history, and weight of your extended length. Note: If your loc count exceeds 115, this tier serves as the base for your bespoke experience.
